Eric and Jess met back in college at the University of Mount Union. Eric was a fraternity brother in Sigma Alpha Epsilon. They had some mutual friends that introduced Jess to the brothers of the chapter, where she eventually met the best one...Eric. They would often play basketball at the rec center or share McDonalds nuggets to get through their Sunday hangovers, but it wasn't necessarily love at first sight. At one point, the fraternity granted Jess the honor of recognizing her as their "sweetheart". This is something the chapter votes on to recognize someone who values and displays the principles of their chapter. And wouldn't you know that one of the few brothers that voted against the decision was...wait for it...Eric!

Jokes on him because little did he know that Jess would eventually become his forever sweetheart.

It wasn't until after they both graduated that they officially started dating. They reconnected at a Mount Union alumni football game, where Jess immediately went home to -kindly- break up with her boyfriend at the time because she knew that she was not with the person she was meant to be with. Her heart was set on Eric.

Fast forward, it has now been 5 years that they have been together. So many memories have been made already, and now they get to continue making them for a lifetime.
